STEP 1:
The first and essential requirement to take a screenshot using Microsoft Word 2010 is that you have installed it on your computer.

STEP 2:
Go to "Insert" tab located at the top of software and then select "Screenshot" from the list.

There are two ways to take screenshot; means you could take the screenshot of entire window or manually select the desired area.

Taking a Screenshot of Entire Window

Now, take a look at the example of taking screenshot of entire window.

So without minimizing current window, go to Microsoft Word app

Now when you click over Screenshot from the Insert menu, it will show you list of available window, now select the above window to paste the image.
