Why use chrome to read pdf files?

The reason we are recommending you to use chrome for reading pdf files is that it is lightning fast. Yes it doesnot take time to load and open. The other reason is that you can open more than one document at the same time and you can use them simultaneosly in different tabs and you can also access internet in the other tab. Last but not the least it is good to have less number of applications on your computer.

How to make chrome read your pdf files?

You can use google chrome as your default pdf reader after a simple trick. What we will do us we will change the program set for opening PDFfiles.

The following tutorial is for users of windows 7

Step 1:
Press the window button and type "Associations" in the run command box. It will give different options. select the option named "Change the file type associated with the file type extension".

Step 2:
When you will click on this a new window will open with the list of all the supported file types. Find ".pdf" in the list and click on "Change program".

Step 3:
A new window will be visible with all the programs which can open that file type (Its not correct all the time). Choose "Google Chrome" and click ok. You are done. :)
