What to keep in mind when leaving Facebook? If you delete your Facebook account you wont be able to use it ever again. Your timeline will be deleted permanently. So if you are not sure that you want to permanently leave Facebook or not I recommend you should deactivate your account. When you deactivate your account people wont be able to see you on Facebook. They wont be able to search for you. But there are certain things which wont be deleted like messages you sent. What Facebook do is that it deactivates your account but it keeps your information that you might want to comeback and reuse Facebook. But if you are use you wont comeback ever you can delete your timeline and all the things related to it permanently. The procedure is discussed below.How To Delete Facebook Account Permenantly
Step 1:Open your Facebook account and go to Account settings.
Step 2:
Go to Link Accounts and click on edit. Remove all the linked accounts from your account. Why is it necessary? It is necessary to remove all the linked accounts because Facebook wont delete your account if you sign in again within 14 days of account deletion. Signing in from a linked account is equivalent of signing in from that particular account. So remove it. If you haven't linked any accounts you can skip this step.
Step 3:
You can save all your profile data on your Hard disk. So when you delete your Facebook account you won't loose any of your precious data. Under Account settings you will find a link saying Download a copy of your Facebook data, click on it. It will ask you to push a button to start downloading.
Step 4:
Finally, you are all set to delete your account. Removing Facebook Account is extremely easy. You just have to Request to delete your Facebook account forever. Click on Delete my account to proceed.
After you have done this. Make sure you don't sign in to Facebook for almost two weeks. Clear your cache and delete you history so that you don't sign in even by mistake.
What if you logged in to your Facebook account within two weeks of deletion?
Well don't worry. You can repeat the steps once again and wait for another 14 days to get rid of Facebook permanently. Hope this helped you.
