How to Add The Quick Launch Toolbar in Windows 7?

Microsoft Corporation released Windows 7 with tremendous features and it allows directly to put shortcut icons in place of Quick Launch Toolbar. However, Windows 7 has hidden quick launch toolbar in Windows 7 by default.

Quick Launch Toolbar Missing!!

Most of us are not fully aware with hidden features in Windows 7, for that they might think that Windows 7 has eliminated several features, but the reality differs from their opinion. Actually, Windows 7 has greatly modified features. Therefore, people who want to add the quick launch toolbar in Windows 7, can definitely do it.

Add Quick Launch in Windows 7:

Adding Quick Launch to Windows 7 is not difficult, but when you're doing this you must know the proper way to do so. Here is the way how you can add quick launch to Windows 7 over taskbar.

STEP 1:
Right Click on the Taskbar, under the menu of Toolbar, click over "New Toolbar".

STEP 2:
Now to add quick launch to Windows 7, you should paste the following link.

%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

STEP 3:
Make sure before clicking over "Select Folder", that when you're done with pasting step that your screen should look like as you can see in the next screen shot.

STEP 4:
Now click over "Select Folder"

STEP 5:
You can see that Quick Launch Toolbar on Taskbar appears.

How to Move Quick Launch Toolbar:

When you're done with this, you can see that it is all on right side. Moving Quick Launch Toolbar is some what tricky. Before this, you have to unlock the taskbar.

And then , you have to click over dotted lines and then drag it to the left side.

You can also unpin programs listed in the super bar by right clicking over the icons and then selecting "unpin this program from taskbar".
